Latin Impact Ministries seeks to demonstrate and proclaim the love of God to a lost and dying world. We participate in diverse projects especially in Latin America, finding the best ways to share Jesus in real and tangible ways.
Through sports ministries; ministerial education and training; pastoral care; multimedia initiatives; construction projects; short term mission trips; humanitarian aid; relief and development work; and much, much more… by all means possible we will tell people how our lives have been changed… and how they can have an authentic encounter with a real Jesus.
Wherever possible, Latin Impact Ministries (LIM) works in partnership with the local church, encouraging and supporting local believers. Where there is no church… we seek to plant ones.
Sixteen years of ministry amongst the people of Latin America...
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Called to missions as a young man and given a deep love for Hispanic people, Russell, together with his wife, Kerry, have been ministering in Latin America since 1991. Six weeks after their wedding, they moved to Mexico where they learned Spanish and worked amongst Indian descendants of the Aztecs . In 1993, God supernaturally opened doors for them to begin ministering in Cuba where they encountered a powerful revival in its beginning stages. In order to concentrate on supporting the Church in Cuba, they moved, along with their 3 young children, from the Mexican border to the tip of Florida.
While living a short time in Colombia in 1997, they were impacted by the number of Latins desiring to be missionaries in the rest of the world. Since that time, they have focused more of their efforts towards mobilizing the emerging army of valiant men and women who have heard the call to reach the last frontier of missions outreach. In the summer of 2006, Andres Cuervo, a Colombian native, joined LIM helping full-time with website, technology, special projects, youth ministry, and everything else in between.
